The PowerArm HV Series jib allows temporary support of a large range of distribution and transmission lines with different configurations. The hydraulic rotator can orient the arm for either horizontal or vertical circuits while the adjustable conductor holders can get the spacing right for the job at hand. The HV Series has a modular design that combines a basic PowerArm with a reverse pin-on jib to allow increased reach for higher voltage and larger phase spacing of up to 138kV structures. The HV series allows faster and safer insulator and tower replacement on applications from 69kV-230kV.
As with all of our PowerArm products, an engineer certification details the specific load capacity capabilities of the entire crane and jib system. A detailed load chart is provided, which gives the operator specific guidelines to work with which reduces opportunity for vehicle instability, equipment damage and personnel hazards.
