The PowerArm Range is a revolutionary new conductor support tool which provides a giant leap in efficiency and safety of work methods for maintenance of energized transmission and distribution lines!

The PowerArm includes an insulated fiberglass boom with a hydraulic linkage system to provide 180 degrees of articulation. It also has adjustable conductor holders to capture energized powerlines. This allows the PowerArm to perform work on many different line and tower configurations while maintaining a slim profile so as not to interfere with the safe work zone of line workers or tower underbuild.

By incorporating the PowerArm Range into your array of tools, more work can be completed with the lines energized while still providing increased productivity and safety!

The exceptional range of articulation allows the PowerArm to stow below the crane on a crane truck and allows for travel to and from the job site without having to remove the jib from the crane, saving valuable man hours and allowing you to get more done at a lower cost!

The PowerArm installs easily on to crane trucks and digger derricks for faster and safer temporary support of energized powerlines. The PowerArm excels at structure and insulator replacements while maintaining de-energized work method costs.

Custom Go/No-Go Chart

Our engineering staff has come up with a chart system to allow energized maintenance on bisect-angle circuits while reducing equipment damage and increasing personnel safety!

The capacity of each crane or digger derrick is calculated and a specific application chart (go/no-go gauge) for most conductor sizes and bisect angles is created for each vehicle the jib is adapted to.

This chart is instrumental in detailing the capabilities of the crane/digger and jib combination, thus reducing chance for vehicle instability, equipment damage and potential personnel safety hazards. The biggest benefit is allowing a new type of energized work to be completed, which previously required an outage.
